Error 36?

So can anyone tell me what error 36 means when I get the message"Could not push samples for frame "  #n  "[error 36]"?

I was trying to proxy some composite shots and 4 of them produced  this message; each at a different frame.

I m using Windows 8.1  on my Assus ROG laptop which has an Intel Core i7-4720HQ CPU@2.60GHz and 16G RAM.

Also I use Hit Film Pro 2017.

  • Export error 36 is literally 'cannot push frame'.

This refers to the process of encoding a rendered video frame to the video codec you have chosen, for example h264.

Running out of disk space is the most likely cause. Proxies are very large on disk as they are full quality, lossless format.

  • I have 300+ gigs free on the drive I am rendering to. Is there a separate scratch drive or something it could be looking at?

  • More follow up, there is only about 1 minute left of my film to export.

443 GB free on drive rendering to.

190 GB free on drive software is installed on.
