> Ultimately, the greatest responsibility for clean audio begins at the source. Get your VO guy to give you cleaner audio, or find a new guy who will.
Yep. I've never had a problem as bad as this before. And thank you Norman and M…
@Triem23 Has the issue been noted? Has a fix been requested?
Clean audio is a pressing need for every production of every sort. What "@" names do I need to place here to get someone's attention? We all need this fixed now.
Is this called a bug? It's mighty annoying/completely maddening the more I repeatedly shift the edit points in both cuts to find the golden non-pop microsecond.
And it's costing me time that I can't bill for, because it's a defect on my end.
You're both amazing -- And Hitfilm is getting excellent.
Is anyone working on a comprehensive Behaviors tutorial series? Without some explainers it's hard to understand the features.
One thing --please be mindful of your sound levels --pull down the machine sounds and make sure your narration is close to the top db. I turned up my volume to hear you, but then had to quickly turn down the volume once the machining began.
It wasn't rear projection. It was front projection (3M high gain reflective sheeting) The flying technology was clever/brilliant -- you'll see how it worked in the vids below. It had a visual defect that is interesting and educative:
> Clicking the down arrow does cycle through drop-down menus now. This feature was added in the latest version of HitFilm Pro.
Boink! My bad. I've been on a cuts only project and haven't used effects since the upgrade -- Terrific.
@Palacono Okay --
But who made that video? There are a whole stack of presets visible in the effect pallette. Are you telling me it was a mockup made in AE to show how it might look in Hitfilm ?
Joke - no joke?
Otherwise, if you've made a set …
@Palacono -- Regarding the presets in the video you linked to:
1. Is there a download link for these presets?
2. Did we get something close to this in the new HFP? Do the new 3D text tools and relate…
For faster operations would you add RAM or buy a better graphics card ?
I believe I remember reading that increased Nvidia cuda numbers don't change performance. In a typical PC build, where is the bottleneck for Hitfilm?
Ack! I'm re-rendering work from the past several days. This will take hours.
I seem to remember Windows has an adjustment so you can give certain programs high priority -- or a greater amount of processor time/cycles.
Will this make Hitfilm …
I just watched Triem's tutorial on file optimization
Yeah -- so it seems I was given an interlaced file to use. I already edited and rendered 20 video clips. Fortunately they were each a separate compo…

Axel sent me a more detailed explanation of the Atomic Particles audio interaction settings for Map 1-4 . I added some details and present the following:
The online help page for Atomic Particles is found here:
We need the option to be able to save a composite shot for use in other projects that may not be sitting in the same place in the directory structure.
Currently, if I save a comp shot and import it elsewhere, I get reminders about missing media. …
The author of the article wrote:
"While HitFilm is aimed mainly at hobbyist filmmakers rather than professional ones, its feature set doesn't reflect that ... "
"Hobbyist filmmakers" ?
Beg your pardon. Hitfilm is feeding my family.
It's -- a lot of money. Is there any way to get one for less than -- gulp $1,742 No lens?
Do we wait until the other manufacturers notice the GH5 value package and release comparable models -- hopefully at a better price p…
A question for @WhiteCranePhoto --
Are you saying that of all the cameras available on the market, and of all the feature packages available on those cameras, that the Panasonic GH5 is the best value available today?
Okay -- assuming there is a best way to stack/order/nest composite shots, is there a chart -- or at least a page in the help file on best practices? It would be ideal if parallel to this would be a chart that lists the problems limitations one wil…
Yo -- @jacksonq08gmailcom
Why can't Hitfilm lock layers?
IMHO -- Ask a better question: Why can't Microsoft figure out a way to lock folder locations so you don't accidentally drag a folder into some other folder?
How many times have I been mu…
Great -- let me try that.
While I've got you on the line, let me ask you another one. I made a composite shot (CS for short) 200 pixels high and 2000 pixels wide. My intention is to create an effect like falling sparks in the CS, then find a way …
