Hmmm, here's a OneDrive link with a video (don't know how to upload and link):
Scrub with the cursor forward to a region with no thumbnails is what I meant.
Wanna clarify the above: When I scroll with the cursor to a region that does not have thumbnails displaying, the timeline thumbnails NEVER repaint until I move the horizontal scrollbar slightly, or zoom the timeline in or out.
@CedricBonnier thanks for explanation that I need to upgrade to Ignite Pro to get the latest Ignite with HitFilm Pro. However, What does the latest version of Ignite give me over the version that was built-in to Pro 2017 or HitFilm Pro now?
Yes that's exactly my confusion. I just upgraded to HitFilm Pro from pro 2017, so do I also have to upgrade to Ignite Pro from whatever version of Ignite came with HitFilm pro 2017 to get everything in ignite Pro?
So I am finally getting around to merge the audio/video from my camera to my separately recorded audio files from my TASCAM DR 60-II. My talent did the "slap hands" thing. Both camera and Tascam were rolling.
Transcoded the footage from my camera t…
Yes, and reason for more! Footage Studio support emailed me back and they will have native support for this codec in next version.
Thank you for your email, this happened with the old direct show Cineform code…
OK, Houston I think we have lift off! Thanks for everyone's help.
I deleted the CHFD in system\win32, uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted.
I am able to produce a cineform AVI at 4K from the dji phantom mp4. Tomorrow I will try it from my SOny 4…
Thanks, I was looking for the about box info!
Darn if it doesn't say EXACTLY what your says.
Should the decoder setting in the tray be set to Fast Desktop Playback only? There is another setting called Filter 422 to 444.
The Footage Studio CODEC information dialog (VC-5/Cineform Codec Configuration) even says everything is installed correctly AND gives the properties of the codec. It calls it out as:
"GoPro-Cineform Codec V9.2.1"
The only install AVAILABLE a few days ago was Quik/studio. That was a 2.0 version. I was careful to uninstall that specifically because I thought it's residues would cause an issue. Then I restarted, and installed what one of you gentlemen called ou…
I'm going to lay this in Footage Studio's support lap. They're help is basically saying the same thing you are, and well, I'm about to pay over $100 for their product. Ill report back here my findings.
So far, this is a bust. I have 4K files wan…
Ok, sorry I;m following gyou in multiple threads.
I downloaded your zip. Are you saying that somehow I can use the DLLS in this zip folder, and install them in Windows so Footage Studio can use them?
Yes, but what do I do? I need a Cineform codec that supports 4K without a license so that I can select it in FootageStudio (or any other transcoder) without it complaining.
OK, so do I download GoPRo Studio 2.3 for that?
I'm a Microsoft Window…
Ok, so let me say I tried to download the Cineform codecs. They don't seem to be on the CIneform site. Also, if I try to get Go Pro Studio, I only get Go Pro "Quik".
So where does one get a free 4k capable cineform codec without a lot of fluff. Acc…
Yep. You don't need OneDrive to view my link, but I don't know if phone is supported. If you look at it with a Windows PC, you'll see it.
The Etch--A-Sketch idea is another great variation on look, as the quill pen ink path as drawn by the artist …
Wow! I have to tell you, @Triem23, what a brilliant suggestion! I've done particle system sequences before, but never thought they could be constrained to a point path! Now I have key frame control over the appearance over time!
Thanks a bunch! …
Hmmm, yeah it was either explore the neon path effect, or using set mask on the ink layer with a matte and extend the mask predictably somehow.
OK, time to explore the neon path effect, which articles/tuts were hinting at in other contexts. "Draw a…
@Palacono, if what you're suggesting is to move a SINGLE mask along the line, the issue is there must be a lengthening "tail" of the mask (of which the shape also needs to curve ) to ensure that the line trailing off the pen remains exposed.
