In regards to the post below, can you reply to my last comment.
So somebody dropped by with three full days worth of stuff like this and asked what could be done. I said have a conference do-over and I'll take care it this time. They thought I was joking........
Did I mention the audio peaks at -45?
We've come a long way since the first day we met haven't we?
You are now a HitFilm Moderator and my video is now almost at 77,000 views and still getting great comments.
Who would have thought?
I thought you would get a lot overwhelmed being a Mod?
As I don't want to post too much off-topic stuff in the threat on the wishlist, I reach out to you here.
I just tried your work around on the LUT. I created a preset, but when I go to the timeline and try to apply that preset on a clip it says 'layers only'.
However, if I have to copy the clips to a new track anyway, can't I then just skip the composite portion and do just that:
1. copy all the clips to a new track above the original.
2. drop the LUT on them.
3. Adjust the opacity of theses clips.
I guess this would create the desired result. Or do I miss something here?
Thanks again for all you do!
Hi Triem, have you seen the latest comments on my HitFilm video?
Check out the latest comments on my HitFilm tutorial that I created after using HitFilm for a couple of weeks, the video that you recommended I should NEVER have uploaded
How's by you?
Quick question- I had a brain lapse- are the built in textures in HF4P supposed to be colorless when used in the particle sim? For some reason I think the spark stars and streaks were goldish/yellow in the particle sim. The fire texture is grey and white- is that how it's supposed to be?
When you get a chance could you just pop the spark stars and/or streaks and/or a Fire Ferocity into the part sim and see if you get color? Or if you know they're supposed to be black and white but I thought the color changed when selecting the Color Source's Texture Color.
Other than that- everything's been status quo except my desktop which appears to be fixed as far as the BSODs are concerned. 2 weeks without one incident on W10. However- just put a new power supply in and now the front USB ports don't work so I'll have to track that issue down. But I'm happy with the computer's performance now that the Intel driver updated properly.
Just upgraded my laptop from 6GB RAM to 16GB. I learned this week there's a second HDD bay built in so I'm dropping in 2TB there. I wonder why the Dell tech told me I could only put in 8GB RAM when the specs for the i5 say it can handle 16. Plus I saw a couple tutorials on youtube where 16GB was installed and the computers ran just fine. I'm still waiting for the second 8GB chip so I have 12GB RAM installed now. The laptop is running great- too bad I can't upgrade the 555M.
Well, have a great day and speech at you later.
hi again do you have a way i can send you the footage it will be a big truck hitting a car and smashing it blowing it up
For some reason an old Christmas carol that I like comes to mind today. "Do you see what I see?"
Yes, yes, I DID put two cameras on my own wedding, as well as an external audio recorder for board feed. Sorted my camera footage on 3 and 4--dropped event markers and split the audio into mono tracks. Getting cameras 1 and 2 from videographer tomorrow, along with her audio, so I'll bounce everything through Pluraleyes for her to synch everything, then pass it back for the edit.
(What? Can't EDIT my own wedding! I'd be sick of looking at it before watching it with by bride!)
Working CTN Animation Expo as an event vid cam op. Getting to shoot people like Disney animators Bernie Mattinson and Glen Keene, Dinotopia creator James Gursen, and Gennedy Tartakovsky! Six more workshops today, and two more days of this! I guess this (and the paycheck) is worth losing four days of Hitfilm Beta testing! I think John Lassiter is here tomorrow!
You may be jealous now.
