@LaramieBrown I'm going to go ahead and merge your thread with the one sensihaynes linked to. Some links came up here not in the other thread, so some consolidation is in order. ☺️
@LaramieBrown I went ahead and merged your thread with this one. Both threads had unique links, so consolidation seemed a good idea.

@RimoMusic Very good job on the Halloween music. It definitely captured that creepy, dark carnival vibe. I also clicked on on your Melancholic Piano and it was awesome. Thanks for the link to the site. I had never heard of it before. Bookmarked it for a return visit if the need arises.

@EricMatyas over in this thread has some really good stuff:
I have listened to a lot of it but can't seem to come up with an idea worthy of using any of it yet, but he has a ton of styles and moods available and at a very low cost of donations accepted. An incredible deal!

FWIW, 909music.com is no longer responding. Too bad. I found a great track there last year for a corporate piece I was editing.
I want to make some instructional/project videos for YouTube and I note that a) a lot of people complain about the music used in YouTube comments and b) there's no music that everyone will appreciate; so I think would it not be best to have silence? There is going to be narration 95% of the time. I feel like if people want music they could play their own at the same time. Maybe I should upload three versions with different genres of music...
There is good music for the background http://www.audioluck.com
I signed up for the free version of Avid Media Composer and got links some free tracks and sound effects.
