How to define in point of Alembic animation?

Hi, A new question:

I am trying to use an Alembic animation (a modified version of the Blender AT-AT model) acoss three scenes. In the second and third scene the animation should start where the previous scene ends. But it always starts from the beginning. Setting the in point on the timeline does not change anything. I coulnd not find a setting to change the behaviour.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround? I tries to export the animation in Blender from frame e.g. 210 to 400 but then the object does not move...

Thanks!

Drag the Alembic layer LEFT on the timeline so it "starts before frame 0."

  • Cool! Speed and quality of your answers are beyond belief!

It works. I expected that the behaviour is the same in comps as in the editor...

    Yes it is!

Ah, you just happened to catch me online. :)

  • One more question: Is there a way to see where my in point is after moving the layer? While I am moving it I get the tooltip-like thing...
