I would like to see a Tutorial on how to make this effect. This would make a great tutorial! Watch the video and enjoy. I found it on Pfhoe website.

they simply stand as still as possible and have the camera operator walk around the actors keeping the shot a stable as possible - it would help to have a dolly or camera stabiliser, you could use the stabilisation tools that some editors have built in, but that can give some odd results.
alternatively you could set up several cameras and blends the shots.
The effects in this short were rather shaky for the most part(that laser beam), but they had a good idea. shame they didn't think to slow the muzzle flashes down as they don't match the slow sound effects or the slow motion effect on the main footage.

Thats what so cool about it, the muzzle flashes were not slowed down, just the bullet slowed down. Still Cool!

Check out Corridor Digital's Modern Warfare: Frozen Crossing Alpha video, which does the same thing - just much, much classier.
There's also a sweet Making Of video which is pretty much a tutorial on all the techniques you need to do something like this :)
    Cheers,
    Arktic.
