Food Reviews with VFX - HitFilm is a great tool

So I keep pushing my Food review / cooking channel, most recently trying to combine practical with VFX (see my Coca-cola Review).

Hitfilm is a great tool for this. My channel isnt the most successful, but I use it it as my learning platform for VFX/Hitfilm as some of you who know my work. It keeps evolving hopefully for the better. Ive got lots of great ideas and advice from other HitFilmers in the past so thought i would share my latest works.

Recently I've been trying to combine practical effects with VFX, i.e sugar trick.

Also been using Pixel Squid and footage crate materials.

  •  Very fun stuff!  I gotta say, the bits at the end of the Coke video truly got a laugh.  I also enjoyed the pop tart video.  All around a fun series.  Great editing and FX, audio is clear, nice pacing.  Subscribed!

  • Thanks @jsbarrett I combined the practical sugar FX with some vfx, using masking. Worked out well for the coke video. Will be doing more of that in future
