    That's a great Roundup of power tips that will help a lot of users. Well done! I was really wondering how you would approach this, and think you knocked it out of the park.

    #6 Learn the texture system. You can load custom images, videos, generated media and 3D models as textures. Use stock of real smoke as a texture for a sim, clone Stormtroopers in Hitfilm's "REBELLION" short, make entire fleets of spaceships fly through planetary rings with particles.

  • The particle system is one of Hitfilm's best features, IMHO.  It's tough to wrap your brain around as a n00b but once you do, there's a lot of power there.  Never going to be such a thing as too many tutorials for it, if you ask me.
