Beginner advice wanted: HD lens for a Sony XDCAM PDW-350L

Hi,
First of all, I am a complete beginner. I have no experience with professional cameras.
I have a Sony XDCAM PDW-350L at my disposal, but I have no lens for it. I am not technical, and I don't know much about lenses, but I clearly need one. Any tips on what to get?
I have no set budget at the moment, but I want something basic to start out with, but I would like a HD lens.
I am planning to use the camera to film a horror movie to start with, but I don't want a lens that is too specific to the film type. I would rather have something I can use for a variety of different types of films, but I will most likely only be filming fiction films.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

  • ehhhh maybe the Canon VLC-719BXS auto focus lens. Its got an infinitely rotating servo focus system. That basically means the camera finds the focus point, not you.
